INTRODUCTION |
The vb53 is an additive for all types of automotive diesel fuels and especially for modern diesel fuels containing high percentages of bio diesel, such as VHO100, and for GTL diesel fuels. |
LUBRICITY |
The vb53 contains a high percentage of Extreme Pressure lubricants (EP) helping protect the fuel pumps, the injectors and the valves against wear. |
SEAL CONDITIONING |
The vb53 contains a rubber seal conditioner helping prevent the seals from hardening and shrinking. |
CLEANING |
The vb53 helps cleaning the injection system, the combustion chambers and the components of the post-combustion system, such as the turbo charger, the catalytic converter and the particulate filter. A systematic use helps prevent built-up of harmful deposits and helps keep-clean all mentioned systems. |
CORROSION PREVENTION |
The vb53 binds humidity and even water to the fuel. The microscopic water drops are covered with EP lubricants and then eliminated through the combustion. In this way, the fuel pumps and the injectors are “EP protected” against corrosion. |
EMISSIONS |
The vb53 helps maintain the performance of the engine, which will respect emissions according the manufacturer’s specifications. |
USAGE FREQUENCY |
The vb53 helps protect the engine when added to the fuel, thus it is recommended to add the vb53 to the fuel at each refill. |
DOSAGES |
ALL TYPES OF DIESEL FUEL: add 0.1/0.4 % in volume to the fuel: 0.1 % = 1 lt. of vb53 to 1000 lt. of quality diesel fuel, 0.2 % = 1 lt. of vb53 to 500 lt. of lower quality diesel fuel. |
0.000 HARMFUL COMPONENTS |
vb53 is 100 % compatible with all metals, plastics and rubbers used in any kind of fuel system of any kind of internal combustion engine. The formulation of the vb53 has no known harmful components. However, accidental release into the environment should be avoided, as it is not easily biodegradable. |
TESTS |
By putting a Viton rubber O-ring from a fuel system in the 100% pure vb53 cleaner for any time desired, it is possible to verify a guaranteed “no harm” result. On-engine-tests recommended are: Black smoke, pm5, pm10, O2, NOx, HC, CO, CO2, λ and any other emission related parameter Turbo pressure in the intake manifold Horsepower and torque Fuel consumption !!!!!!!!! |
COMBINED TREATMENTS |
The vb53 can be used contemporary with the vb26, vb27, vb33 and/or vb35 added to the same fuel, Each will enforce the cleaning capability of the others. |
